Therapy at Propagate

I believe that everyone has the answers they’re looking for and the capacity to grow and change. My job is to help uncover those answers and increase motivation for change so the new pieces of you can root and thrive.

I have been working as a clinical mental health therapist for ten years. My style of therapy uses motivational interviewing, mindfulness techniques, and a wide array of coping and reframing skills to help you gain the motivation and insight to make changes to improve your health and well-being.

My approach is strengths-based and trauma-informed. Sessions are often conversational with skill building and feedback given as needed. For children and teens coming in, I have lots of art supplies and games to play as we talk and learn.

Services

I offer individual and family therapy and work with each client to create a plan for treatment that best meets your needs.

Individual Therapy

I support people who are experiencing depression or anxiety or who have experienced trauma and are having difficulty adjusting to stress and change.

I offer specialized support for individuals contemplating a change in their relationship to substances. Whether you’re considering substance use recovery or need ongoing support to maintain progress, I can be of support.

The primary modes of treatment I draw from are: talk therapy, play therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, emotion-focused therapy, and collaborative problem solving.

Family Therapy

Family systems can be complex and communication doesn’t always come naturally. I enjoy helping caregivers and children learn new ways of listening to understand each other and decreasing any conflict.
